Hoang Yen in Bahamas
The Vietnamese contestant in the Miss Universe 2009 pageant Vo Hoang Yen arrived in the Bahamas on August 3, after a 25-hour flight from HCM City.

Hoang Yen immediately called home when she arrived at Nassau Airport. Yen said the flight was okay and she was ready for the pageant.
The organising board welcomed Yen at the airport and she talked with Miss Greece at the airport.
Hoang Yen and other contestants are staying at the Atlantics Resorts on Paradise Island during the contest.
Today, August 4, Hoang Yen and contestants will register with the organising board, try on swimwear, night gowns and meet with make-up artists and stylists.
They will participate in the first activities of the pageant on August 5, including taking photos at a swimming pool, paying a visit to Ardastra garden and some famous destinations in the Bahamas.
